The needessentials Side Pocket Boardshort is designed as a stylish but technical basic.  It features the highest quality non-abrasive 4-way-stretch fabric for comfort and flexibility and a 17" leg length sits above the knee. The waistband has multiple eyelets to allow you to adjust to achieve the perfect fit when the boardies are wet or dry. A self-draining side pocket allows for storage for wax and keys. Offered in a range of natural colours, this boardshort is designed to be a timeless favourite.

the best all-round shorts I have owned.

These are the best all-round shorts I have owned. A simple design that works, zip pocket with loop is great for keeping the car key safe while in the surf. Thought I should write this review when I saw no one had when I came back to the to buy my second pair of these. My first pair is still going strong with only a little fading after 2 + years of hard use. Great shorts, great products without the normal BS that comes with most surf apparel.

Perfect travel shorts

I wanted a pair of swim shorts that:
✅ Cut just above the knee
✅ Doubled as walk shorts
✅ Had a zip pocket for my phone
I would love an option to include a liner or not, or have 2 zip pockets, but these are otherwise the perfect travel shorts for me for now.
